Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on Saliheen Matrimony, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old to register.
2. Purpose of the Platform
Saliheen Matrimony exists solely to facilitate marriage in a manner consistent with Islamic principles. The platform is not a dating service. All interactions are intended to be purposeful, dignified, and directed toward nikkah.
3. Community Guidelines — Sharia-Compliant Interaction
All members agree to the following rules of conduct:
- Wali supervision: every conversation and video call takes place in a tri-party room with the Prospect's wali present. Rooms cannot be unlocked unless all three participants are concurrently connected.
- Lowered gaze: profile photos remain blurred until the owner explicitly reveals them within an active proposal.
- Respectful speech: abusive, harassing, or indecent language is prohibited in all communications.
- Honesty: all profile information must be truthful and current.
4. Verification and Zero-Tolerance Enforcement
Any attempt to bypass the wali verification system, circumvent the presence or supervision controls, or submit fraudulent, altered, or another person's identity documents will result in an immediate, permanent ban from the platform without appeal.
We may suspend accounts pending investigation of a reported violation. Decisions on permanent bans are final.
5. Proposals and Match Lock
Members may hold a maximum of three active pending proposals at a time. Once all three parties confirm a match, the profiles are locked and closed to new proposals. Either party may part ways at any stage, which closes the supervised room and hides revealed photos.
6. Platform Role and Liability
Saliheen Matrimony provides introductions and supervision tools; it is not a party to any marriage agreement, mahr arrangement, or offline meeting. Members are responsible for their own due diligence. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for the conduct of members or the outcomes of introductions.
7. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that breach these terms. Upon termination, your data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
