Privacy Policy

Saliheen Matrimony is a guardian-supervised, Sharia-compliant marriage platform. We collect only the information required to verify identities, supervise proposals, and facilitate introductions with a wali present. Your trust and modesty are central to everything we build.

• Account information: name, email address, date of birth, and the role you register as (Suitor, Prospect, or Wali).
• Profile information: religious practice, lifestyle, values, and partner requirements you choose to share.
• Government-issued identity documents: collected strictly for verification purposes to ensure a safe, Sharia-compliant environment for all members.
• Usage data: proposal activity, chat participation, and presence signals needed to operate supervised rooms.

All identity verification documents are stored in secure, encrypted cloud storage buckets accessible only by administrators with a legitimate review need. They are never shown to other members and are never used for any purpose other than verifying your identity.

Identity documents are permanently purged from our servers immediately after the verification process is completed, or instantly upon account deletion. We retain no copies, backups, or derivatives of these documents beyond that point.

Profile photos remain blurred by default and are revealed only when the owner explicitly chooses to reveal them within an active proposal. Photos are automatically hidden again when a proposal closes or a match is finalized.

• To match you with compatible members and operate tri-party, wali-supervised rooms.
• To send notifications about proposals, verification, and match outcomes.
• To enforce our Terms of Service and keep the platform safe.

• We never sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
• We never display your identity documents or private photos to other members.
• We never use your data for advertising profiling.

You may permanently delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion immediately removes your profile, proposals, messages, wali links, and any stored identity documents through cascading deletion. This action cannot be undone.
